Fathead Explodes with Customer Direct
In 2007, Fathead, a company that makes life-size wall graphics of sports icons, celebrities and other pop culture stars, had a good problem – too much demand. The company could not keep up with phone orders and, when calls increased by more than 1,000% around the Christmas season, Fathead needed help fast.Customer Direct was called upon to handle the overflow and after-hours calls. However, Fathead was so impressed with the company that it decided to completely outsource all of its telephone order processing to the call center in 2008.
